About

Jordan Quick is a shareholder at the Hustead Law Firm and is heavily involved in the firm’s insurance coverage litigation practice. Jordan provides coverage advice to insurers nationally and litigates insurance issues arising from construction, business tort, sexual misconduct, indemnity, premises liability, personal injury, and commercial claims. Jordan evaluates and analyzes coverage issues under primary, umbrella, and excess liability policies to advise clients on subjects such as carriers’ duty to defend, contribution, and indemnification, priority of coverage, allocation of defense costs or liability, and other insurance matters.

Jordan’s coverage experience also includes bad faith and extra-contractual liability issues, policy interpretation, and property and casualty coverage, as well as representation of insurance companies in state and federal courts throughout the Rockies. In addition to her coverage work, Jordan is also dedicated to defending individual and corporate policyholders against claims involving residential and commercial properties, constitutional violations, premises liability, personal injury accidents, collections, and breach of contract issues. Jordan is admitted in Federal and State Courts in Colorado and Utah, and has entered her appearance pro hac vice in several other jurisdictions in an effort to zealously represent her clients.

Jordan has contributed to several national publications, including articles for Surety Claims Institute, the Insurance Coverage Law Center, and the American Bar Association. Jordan’s most recent works involved an article for the National Association of Surety Bond Producers regarding recent marijuana legislation and an article for the Insurance Coverage Law Center regarding the intoxication and the applicability of the “intentional acts” exclusion of liability insurance policies.

Jordan obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado State University, where she received a four-year scholarship to swim at the NCAA Division 1 level. Following graduation, Jordan attended law school in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she held a teacher’s assistant position with the school’s Immigration Law and Human Rights Clinic. She also worked at a prominent litigation firm and assisted in developing cases that won favorable verdicts in Federal Court.

Jordan graduated from law school magna cum laude and after passing the Colorado bar exam, moved from Charlotte to Denver to begin her legal career. When she is not in the office, Jordan enjoys spending time with her fiancé and borderline psychotic pup, snowboarding, attending live music shows, and making trips to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada to visit her parents.
