Patrick Hustead began his post-collegiate working career roughnecking on oil rigs, from land based rigs in Prudhoe Bay and the Brooks Range to platforms and drill ships in the Santa Barbara Channel. He has leveraged that knowledge into a successful oil and gas practice handling tort liability cases throughout the intermountain west, from common drilling rig accidents to oil field explosions and fires. He has tried a case to a federal jury involving a class action stockholders dispute arising out of the McElmo Dome Gas Formation in Colorado, one of World's largest known accumulations of nearly pure CO².
