Stephen McGowan

Stephen McGowan is an Associate Attorney at The Hustead Law Firm.

He graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he developed both a strong foundation and lasting interest in civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephen practiced insurance defense in Arizona, focusing on a broad range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, premises liability, general liability, and construction defect claims.

Before becoming an attorney, Stephen was a semi-professional competitive paintball player, who competed at both the national and international level. During this time, he also worked in venue security management for several nightlife and hospitality groups in Scottsdale, Arizona. In that role, he oversaw security operations across multiple venues, managed security teams, and ensured compliance with public safety protocols and Arizona state liquor laws.

Outside the office, Stephen enjoys international travel, competing in competitive paintball, auto racing, and participating in various fitness disciplines.
